A Different Kind of Agent
My time at Zillow gave me a front-row seat to what frustrates people about working with real estate agents — the pressure, the lack of transparency, the feeling that someone is selling to you rather than working with you. I built my practice on the opposite of that.
When you work with me, you get a consultative experience. I ask questions. I listen. I make sure you have all the information you need to make the right decision on your timeline — not mine. I don't believe in high-pressure tactics, and I never will.
“48 transactions. A perfect 5.0 rating across every single review.”
I'm proud of that record — not because of the number, but because it reflects the kind of relationships I've built.
Expertise That Goes Beyond the Transaction
Real estate isn't just my profession — it's something I've studied from every angle.
A Builder's Eye
After becoming a broker, I went to work as a carpenter doing residential remodeling. When I walk through a home with you, I can speak to framing quality, identify where corners were cut, assess what a renovation would realistically cost, and spot issues most agents would walk right past. That perspective has saved my clients significant money and headaches.
An Investor's Mindset
Whether you're looking at your first rental property, evaluating raw land, or building a portfolio, I can help you analyze the numbers, understand the risks, and identify opportunities that align with your financial goals. Investment strategy is one of my true passions — and an area where I feel I can add the most value.
My Specialties
Firefighter, Builder, Broker
Today, I also serve my community as a firefighter. It's a role I'm deeply grateful for, and one that keeps me grounded and connected to the people and places around me. Real estate is the passion I pursue when I'm not on shift.
The two careers might seem like an unlikely pairing, but they've shaped me in complementary ways. Firefighting has made me a better communicator, a calmer presence in stressful moments, and someone who shows up when it matters. I like to think those qualities carry over when I'm helping a client navigate a complicated negotiation or a tight timeline.
I've worn a lot of hats over the years, and each one has taught me something that makes me a better broker. When we're walking through a property together, I can give you the full picture — not just the sales pitch.
Life on the Highway 2 Corridor
I live in Gold Bar with my wife, our two dogs, and two cats. We moved here for the same reason so many people are drawn to this part of Washington: the chance to live surrounded by nature without giving up access to everything the greater Seattle area has to offer.
The Highway 2 corridor — from Monroe through Sultan, Gold Bar, Index, and up to Skykomish — is more than just my service area. It's my home, and I know it intimately. Explore the communities I serve. I know which neighborhoods are seeing new development, where the hidden gems are, what the commute really looks like in winter, and how the local market moves differently from Seattle proper.
When you work with me, you're getting an agent who doesn't just sell homes here — I live here, I'm part of this community, and I'm invested in its future.
